It was the first day of school at the DWMA. The purple haired female walked up the stairs to the front door of the academy. She took a quick glance around and noticed that she was the only one around. She tilted her head slightly and let out a soft sigh. Was this going to be a slow school year? Was it because she was there...? She brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear and took a seat on the steps, putting down the bag she carried with a few books and notebooks for her to take notes. She pulled a pair of leather gloves from the side of her belt and slid them onto her hands.
"Seriously...It's the first day of school and I'm the only one here....? I suppose I am a little early but still....And now I'm talking to myself...."
She raised her hand up and pulled the sunglasses down that rested on her head. The sun was shining too brightly for her and she didn't like bright lights much...She pulled her legs in close and hugged her knees close to her. She figured that since it was so early, the doors would be locked...She never tried but she was pretty sure. She closed her eyes as she sit curled up on the steps leading to the main entrance.
"Wonder how long I'll have to sit here..."
Mel sighed as she walked towards the academy. She was the first of her family to recieve schooling like this, and she really hoped that she'd take to it well. As was expected, she was extremely nervous about her first day. How long would it take for her to find a partner? Would she even find someone compatable. She sighed. "I really have to stop worrying about all of this." She thought to herself as she made her way to the front steps. "I'll find a partner here."
There was already one person sitting on the steps, most likely waiting for the doors to be unlocked. This other girl was of course much taller than Mel, but then again, so was everyone. She was already afraid of people making fun of her height like they did back home. Well, if they did, she could easily beat any one of them, most likely. But then again, these were other weapons, and probably much tougher than any of the kids back home.
She sat down near, and a step above, the other girl waiting. "So..." she said, trying to strike up a conversation. "Are you new here too?"
Momiji looked up at the DWMA, and sighed.
"This place is a drag." he said quietly. Momiji hated everything, Mainly because Everything has a bad side to it, and whats the point liking somthing if it turns out to be bad. Momiji stepped up to the door and noticed two girl talking to each other. They seemed nice, but there was probably something bad about them too.
"Hey am I early or what?" He asked bluntly. He honestly didn't care, but he just didn't feel like being left out of a conversation. One of his pet Peves
The doors finally opened and the three walked in. Moments passed and more and more students began to fill the halls, meeting up with old friends and making new ones. The two females, Mel and Emiko raced down the halls with their new auaintence close behind.
After the race, Emiko gave Momiji a lesson on trusting others and the benefits that could come from it. Their talk was cut short when the new teacher, Ms. Quinn entered. The three of them ran off to the class, barely making it in time. After roll was taken, class got quiet for a while. Class ended after Ms. Quinn's final announcement.
Finding a partner within a week.
Before leaving class, Momiji had trusted Emiko a bit more and decided to test if their soul wavelengths were compadible. Turned out they were.
Assignment completed...
But in the mean time, there's a strange looking dog walking around the DWMA and made it's way into the kitchen. No one knows where this animal came from or how it got in but it seemed a little suspicious.
