short question... i wanted to add an ability to my character...that is locked Due to his traumatic event..could i still add that ability...even though my character has been accepted depending on what it is since a lot of the new people lack the points to make abilities so far? since my character had a traumatic event it would make sense if he had some abilities that were repressed because of the event making him unable to use them again? if you want i will tell you before hand and you can make your decision there...it was something that came into my head after he was made.

Sure! i will even give you an reason why he can't use it currently
the ability is called Soul Blade Wolf created it when he was a small kid but the ability was repressed when is family was killed and his sisters told him to not fight the organization and when he saw them brutaly murdered he repressed it. thus it is now a locked ability though his rage form can draw on it because it makes him go into a state of great hatred calling forth all of his strength to fight.
it compresses soul wave lengths around the forearm to the point were they harden and create a blade around the users forearm and hand and it is the length of the forearm to the hand with and extra 2ft
it can be used on both hands which are like a karate chop the major draw back is he cannot use his hands when he is fighting with the blade because his hands are what stabilizes the blade. the length of the blade is about 4ft since his forearm is 2ft. this ability is locked until he remember how to use it but it will be hard process. it can block weapons and cause cuts on meister's but Wolf's Soul strength must be stronger to cause a fatal blow, but it can be used to block and cause minor wounds if it is weaker. it is a melee weapon that is semi short range and yes...if his fighting spirit is shattered he cannot use the ability and yes he can use it on both arms but it does disable the ability to "grab things".
in short he will not get this ability...until he remembers how to use it but if he does he could become a weaponless meister for a bit or if he has a ranged weapon he could hold his own in melee combat.
does this mean he has some control over soul wave lengths?
Yes, it does but he does not remember how to not passively draw them...yes his martial art uses soul wavelengths on the killing blow but he never realizes it because repressed is the ability to "Sense" it.
if i have to wait for the points to make the ability i can but if i could have it for a future occasion that would be nice it fits with his back story though. all right then thanks for the answer
